El camino de ensueños de Enchanted Dream Wear comenzó hace 9 años, como una tienda de accesorios para el cabello y disfraces de fantasía. Pero ese sendero de bosques y hadas tuvo un giro inesperado en 2015 que llevaría a su diseñadora y fundadora Erny Sigurdsson hacia otro rincón, uno con muchos más vuelos y encajes.
O al menos ese sería el cuento de cómo Erny se dedicó al Lolita.
La diseñadora explica que comenzó "hace unos 3 años haciendo accesorios, luego diseñé calcetines y bolsos. Este año lanzaré mi línea de ropa".

Ambos momentos de Enchanted Dream Wear tienen en común su inspiración en la moda de épocas pasadas, y el amor por los encajes, la seda y los lazos. Hoy, sus productos siguen las tendencias que actualmente se encuentran de moda entre los estilos Harajuku y Lolita, como el Menhera, y estampados astrológicos y marinos.
El objetivo principal de Erny con su tienda es crear prendas de alta calidad "y que se ajuste cómodamente a la talla de un cuerpo "real". Mi línea de ropa va desde la talla 4 a la 16 estadounidense".

-¿Diseñas pensando en un comprador o solo por estética?
-Cuando hago mis diseños, pienso en la necesidad de mis clientes. Me doy cuenta de que muchos de nosotros no podemos encajar en muchas de las prendas de marcas asiáticas. Por ejemplo, si hago OTK, me aseguro de que sean lo suficientemente largas como para acomodar a la talla occidental.
-¿Qué prendas esperas traer a Monster Fantasy-Bows Lolita Convention? ¿Qué esperas del evento?
-Este año empiezo a ir a convenciones internacionales. Bows será la primera. Voy a debutar mi línea de ropa en Bows Lolita Convention con vestidos de seda de tema María Antonieta. Me toma aproximadamente 1 mes hacer mis muestras y patrones. Personalicé todos mis encajes. Quiero presentar mi marca a la comunidad Lolita internacional.

-Do you design thinking about the buyer or just for aesthetics?-When I do my design I think about my clients need. I realize that many of us could not fit in many of the Asian brand clothing. For example if I make an OTK I make sure that its long enough to accommodate western size.
-What items do you expect to bring to Monster Fantasy-Bows Lolita Convention? What do you expect from the event?-This year I start going to international convention. Bow will be my first. I will debut my clothing line in Bows Lolita Convention. Which will be Marie Antoinette theme silk dresses. It takes about 1 month for me to do my samples and pattern. I customized all my laces. I wanted to introduce my brand to international lolita community.
